Hyper Flux
A downloadable game for Windows
Running against the timer in a destroyed world with only your gravity-controlling suit and gun.
This is a game prototype to test the concept of speedrunning while messing around with gravity.
I took up this project to improve upon my level design and system design skills along with making a fun game to speedrun, somewhat akin to Karlson or Portal.
Controls
Due to lack of time (this being a semester project) gravity orbs weren't explained in a proper tutorial! So here is the janky explanation:
Mouse clicks shoot projectiles which stick onto any surface. These orbs create a force field around themselves when stuck.
- Left Click: Throws a BLUE orb which pulls you towards it's center
- Right Click: Throws a RED orb which pushes you away from it's center
- WASD: Movement
- Spacebar: Jump when pressed. Also float afterwards when held.
- Shift: float
- R Key: Restart Level
- ESC Key: Pause Menu

Note
[Only keyboard and mouse are completely supported. Controller is supported during gameplay but is kinda bad and loses focus after you open the settings menu]
[The music is only placeholder at the moment and will be replaced in the future.]
